So, even if people don&#39;t understand the language, they enjoy the music,&quot; said the 25-year-old. &quot;My song Katiya karoon in &#39;Rockstar&#39; is a Punjabi song. Since the music was made by good music director A. R. Rahman, the song made a good impact. Language apart, it was the music of the song that I think most people liked and enjoyed,&quot; added the singer who is currently busy with her upcoming live music series on a popular music channel. The Delhi girl, Harshdeep, learned music from her father and started singing at the age of six. Other than exploring different styles of music like Indian classical, Western classical and world music, she is known for her u00a0songs. But she clarifies that she doesn&#39;t stick to Sufi singing. &quot;It&#39;s not true, I have tried and touched all types of music and singing styles. Whatever style comes, I try to sing in that. In Bollywood, there is a huge scope for singing in various styles. Bollywood is very versatile,&quot; she said. Right now she is looking forward to a popular award function as she is nominated for the best female playback singer award. &quot;No preparations as such but I&#39;m very excited about the nomination. I think it&#39;s one of the biggest and prestigious awards of the country and it&#39;s actually grand for me as well. I&#39;m looking forward to a great weekend,&quot; she said.
