Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol recently revealed the reason behind his initial hesitation to venture into a sequel for his iconic film `Gadar`. The momentous occasion of the trailer launch brought together Sunny Deol, along with Utkarsh Sharma, Ameesha Patel, and filmmaker Anil Sharma on Vijay Diwas.

`Gadar: Ek Prem Katha`, with a runtime of two hours and fifty minutes, holds the distinction of being the second most-watched Hindi film in India since the 1990s. The movie became a colossal success and emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film since the 1994 blockbuster `Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!`.
