Expressing her gratitude for portraying the role of Aditi, the actress revealed her heartfelt desire to be a part of a sequel to the beloved 2008 film.


During the interview, Genelia was asked whether people still call her Aditi in public, to which she replied with a smile, "Yes." She expressed immense appreciation, stating that it warms her heart to know that, even after 15 years, the audience fondly remembers the film and her character.


Speaking about the film's enduring popularity, the 35-year-old actress emphasized the significance of leaving a lasting impact on viewers' hearts. She acknowledged that when a film remains etched in people's memories for over a decade, it becomes truly special. As the conversation shifted towards the possibility of a 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na' sequel, Genelia's excitement was palpable. With great enthusiasm, she confidently declared, "I would love to, please put it out in the universe."

Genelia also shared that she had the opportunity to meet the director of the film, Abbas Tyrewala, at Madhu Mantena's wedding. Additionally, she mentioned visiting Aamir Khan's office once or twice. When it comes to Imran Khan, Genelia disclosed that their children attend the same school, leading to frequent encounters.

Beyond her iconic role in 'Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na,' Genelia Deshmukh has made a significant impact in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil language films. Her acting journey began with the super-hit 'Tujhe Meri Kasam' in 2003, following which she appeared in numerous popular films.
