After Ridhi Dogra and Anshuman Jha, Milind Soman has joined the cast of the action drama, Lakadbaggha. The actor essays the role of a martial arts expert in the movie that went on floors in Kolkata last December. “Every aspect of the story is well thought-out. I loved how intrinsically Krav Maga is incorporated in the script,” says Soman. While Jha specially trained in Krav Maga for six months under the guidance of expert Tsahi Shemesh, Soman has picked up the basics of the art. Always game to test his physical prowess, the fitness enthusiast says shooting for the film was a strenuous experience. “I’m playing a Bengali martial arts instructor and Anshuman’s father. The shoot schedule was intense. The choreography is specially devised to highlight this martial art.”

Though it’s an adventure film, director Victor Mukherjee says the story focuses on the father-son relationship. “The relationship between Milind and Anshuman’s characters is the core of the film. We are excited to showcase Milind in a never-before-seen avatar.”
