The shooting was allowed to resume after the makers of Good Luck Jerry assured the farmers that they would extend support to their protest.
Janhvi Kapoor
Barely had Janhvi Kapoor begun shooting for Good Luck Jerry in Bassi Pathana, Punjab, that she was greeted by protests. On January 11, a group of farmers arrived on the set of Aanand L Rai’s production and asked for the filming to be stopped as Kapoor had not extended support to the agitation.

"They'd told the workers and director that Bollywood actors have neither said anything in support of farmers protest nor made any comment. When the film director assured them that Janhvi Kapoor will make a comment on the protest then they went back. The shoot is going on," Station House Officer (SHO) Balwinder Singh said (as reported by ANI).
Later, she posted a message about the farmers’ contribution, which pacified them. Miss Kapoor shared a post on her Instagram story which read, "Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers."
