Five years after the release of Raid, the film’s makers kicked off the sequel yesterday. Ajay Devgn returns as IRS (Indian Revenue Services) officer Amay Patnaik, retelling yet another income tax raid story that made headlines in the past. The announcment of Raj Kumar Gupta’s directorial venture was made with a poster declaring, ‘Amay Patnaik is back’, but featured only the actor’s feet. We hear Ajay will be sporting a different look in the thriller this time around. Details about the cast aren’t known at this point, but we hear that filming commenced yesterday in Mumbai with Ravi Teja giving the muhurat shot. The shoot is set to be in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The makers also revealed that the film will arrive in cinemas on November 15 this year, just after Diwali.
