Ash’s next with Ajith, Trisha

Chatter in Chennai is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is likely to team up with Ajith in his next, a comedy thriller, tentatively titled AK62. Apparently, she has loved the script and her character, but will sign on the dotted line after the logistics are finalised. Insiders claim that the comedy thriller, helmed by Vignesh Shivan, will have two leading ladies. Reportedly, Trisha Krishnan is on board, marking her fifth collaboration with Ajith, after Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011) and Yennai Arindhaal (2015). Ash and Trisha have also shared screen space in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, the second part of which releases on April 28. Expectedly, they both have crucial parts in AK62.
