Bappi Lahiri’s Juhu home is bedecked for Christmas. The veteran singer-composer and grandson Swastik Bansal aka Rego B, a budding singer, will be ringing in the festival by belting out Yuletide carols.

To mark a decade since the release of the Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra-starrer Don 2, producer-director Farhan Akhtar reminisced about “how Don gave bad guys a lesson in how to be the worst of them and only SRK could bring this level of cool to him”. Akhtar added that he loved making the film and the opening sequence in particular, “which would set the tone for what’s to follow”. He remembered the late Om Puri, who was part of the cast, but there was no mention of PeeCee.

The actor added, “I am still trying to figure out if we are in COVID times or not... day 12 ... two days to go... stay safe all.” Bebo will be giving the famed annual Christmas brunch a skip.

Sunny Deol is “feeling blessed” to complete the first schedule of Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2. The long-in-the-planning sequel to the 2001 blockbuster rolled earlier this month in Himachal Pradesh. “Only a fortunate few get to bring amazing characters back to life. Presenting Tara Singh 20 years later,” wrote Deol while sharing a glimpse of his look in the film co-starring Ameesha Patel.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actor Nakuul Mehta tested positive for COVID-19. He is self-isolating at home and binging on digital shows, listening to podcasts, eating homemade warm meals, and consuming the required medicines “as I take on the mantle of beating COVID-19. We shall overcome,” Mehta wrote.
