The RamLila committee representatives have reportedly said that since Prabhas plays Lord Ram in his January 2023 release, Adipurush, which is based on the Ramayana, there couldn’t be a more appropriate actor to perform Raavan dahan on Vijay Dashami

Prabhas is currently mourning the demise of his uncle and veteran actor-politician, Uppalapati Krishnam Raju, who passed away early Monday morning. However, we hear that the actor has been approached to participate in Delhi’s LavKush RamLila, that starts on September 26. The 10-day festivities will culminate with the burning of demon king Raavan’s effigy on Dussehra, on October 5. The RamLila committee representatives have reportedly said that since Prabhas plays Lord Ram in his January 2023 release, Adipurush, which is based on the Ramayana, there couldn’t be a more appropriate actor to perform Raavan dahan on Vijay Dashami. The actor will set afire the effigies of Raavan, Kumbhakaran and Meghnaad by shooting them with specially-made arrows.
