The European reunion

mid-day reported that rumoured ex-lovers Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday are set for their next adventure (Quick summer romance, June 2). The actors seem to be shooting for their next project, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, in Europe. The makers, on June 2, announced that the romantic drama will arrive in cinemas on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day.  This film marks the second collaboration between Kartik and Ananya after Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) and a new chapter between the producer of the film, Karan Johar, and Kartik after the actor was dropped from Karan’s Dostana 2 due to alleged professional differences and unprofessional behaviour in 2021.

Going heavy on action and masala

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has commenced a new shooting schedule for his upcoming action thriller Arjun Ustara, starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. Sources tell mid-day that the film’s team has been based in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, for the past week, and is gearing up for an intense three-week schedule focused on high-octane action sequences and rigorous training. The source tellls us, “Shahid and Triptii are undergoing an MMA-based regimen that blends Krav Maga and Kali stick-fighting techniques, along with core strength and endurance training.” The action team has designed sequences featuring rappelling down rocky cliffs, close-quarter combat in forested terrain. “Vishal sir is pushing for a raw look with no green screens. It’s all real locations, with minimal wirework to keep it authentic,” reveals the source. Apparently, special focus is on knife fights and unarmed takedowns. “Every move is broken down into beats and rehearsed repeatedly to ensure safety and impact on screen.”
