Pakistani star Mahira Khan, who attended Arijit Singh’s concert in Dubai over the weekend, said it was a pleasure to watch the Indian singer “whirling in joy, surrounded by love”. The duo hit headlines yesterday after a video of Singh apologising to Khan did the rounds online. While the singer had spotted Khan, he failed to immediately recognise her. Ironically, Singh even sang the song Zaalima, which featured Khan. “Can we have the camera [on her]? I was trying to recognise this person, then I remembered, I had sung for her. Mahira Khan is sitting right in front of me. I was singing her song Zaalima, and she was singing, and I couldn’t recognise her. I am so sorry. Ma’am, thank you so much,” he said. Khan later expressed her admiration for him on social media.
