Gurinder Chadha's three-year-old twins make their acting debut in her next film

The youngest members of the cast in Gurinder Chadha's new film It's A Wonderful Afterlife are the director's twinsu00a0-- son Ronak and daughteru00a0Kumiko.u00a0Apparently,u00a0bothu00a0 theu00a0 kids not only insisted on being partu00a0 of the film, but they even out-performedu00a0the veterans onu00a0screen.

Laughs Gurinder, "Yes my twinsu00a0 make theiru00a0 acting debut in my film,u00a0not once but twice. And both the times they steal the show. They first appear in a sequence in a park withu00a0my husbandu00a0Paul and thenu00a0later in a wedding scene throwing flowers atu00a0 theu00a0 bride and theu00a0 groom."

Not only that, the twinsu00a0 feature inu00a0 the end-titles ofu00a0 It's Au00a0Wonderfulu00a0Afterlife with their mother. "I can tell you this much,u00a0Ronak and Kumiko are a natural in front ofu00a0the camera."

Gurinder's nextu00a0venture would be au00a0children'su00a0film set in Kerala. It would be dedicated tou00a0 her twins.

The Farah Khan connect

Gurinder's good friend and fellow director Farah Khan is the mother of triplets. When Farah started shooting her latest venture, Tees Maar Khan, she took them with her to the sets at Malshej Ghat almost every day. She had also built a nursery for them at the sets so they would be comfortable. The film's lead stars Akshay and Katrinau00a0 too would pamper them.
