Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is currently in a dilemma about whether or not he should attend the India vs. Australia World Cup 2023 finals. After team India secured their position in the cricket World Cup 2023 final on Wednesday, Amitabh joked that he could be the reason behind India's win.

The India vs. New Zealand match was attended by many A-listers, including David Beckham, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor, Kiara Advani, and Anushka Sharma. The match was legendary for many reasons since Virat scored his 50th ODI. After the match, Amitabh took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "When I don't watch, we WIN!"

Now, the 'Don' actor is in a dilemma about whether he should watch the World Cup Finals on Sunday because the last time he didn't watch the match, India won.

Taking to X, in the early hours of Friday, Amitabh wrote in Hindi, "Ab soch raha hun, jaun ki na jaun." (I am thinking of going or not going.)

Although he hasn't directly mentioned the World Cup, given his previous tweet, he seemed to be talking about that.

Team India will be competing against Australia on Sunday, November 19, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh was recently seen in the action thriller film 'Ganapath' alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He will be next seen in the sci-fi action film 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas.

Directed by Nag Ashwin, 'Kalki 2898AD' promises to transport audiences to a world never seen before in Indian cinema. The film's premise, set in the distant future of 2898 AD, seamlessly blends futuristic elements with rich storytelling, offering an unparalleled and immersive cinematic experience. The movie had a grand launch at the recently concluded San Diego Comic Con.

At the comic con, while interacting with the audience at Hall H, Nag Ashwin spoke about Indian Gods and superheroes. He even mentioned how he grew up watching Mahabharata and Star Wars and he had to make a film which had best of both the worlds. Ashwin's excitement for Indian mythology was clear when one  of the fans asked him a question about bringing mythology to the west, he said, “I just think we're on the shoulders of all this mythology and 100 years of cinema and actors, great movies. You love your superhero so much. And if you have Superman who can fly into space, we have Hanuman who can eat the sun. And then if you have Thor or a Hulk who can break a building, then we have Hanuman who can lift a mountain, or Kumbakaran who will lift the mountain.”
