Director Atlee is equally excited to visit Chennai and spread the fever of Jawan. Sharing his excitement on social media, the director wrote "Can’t wait for this... See you all tommmmmmm #jawan pre-release event tomm 3 pm at Sai Ram Engineering College Chennai"

Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment production directed by Atlee and co-produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The film will be released in theatres globally on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra. Jawan also has Deepika Padukone in a cameo appearance.
