Karan Deol, tells us what should be on the to-do list if you are planning a trip to Manali. His itinerary is sure to make you want to pack your bags and head to the hills.

So let’s join him on the ride! Karan was recently seen in the movie ‘Velle.’

Where are you off to today?
Manali. The reason is, you could just disconnect from the world and be at one with nature.

What’s on the itinerary?
The activities I enjoy the most are hiking, going for long drives, sitting in one of the small coffee shops, rappelling and camping.

What’s on the menu?
The local dish you should try is Siddu its basically bread with different fillings, you must have it with desi ghee. Also try the local red rice with rajma.

Your fondest travel memories with friends and family...
Fondest memories were shooting my debut movie ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ there; those memories are something that is very close to my heart.

The craziest thing you did on a holiday…
The craziest thing I’ve done is rappel down a waterfall and camping at extremely high altitudes at freezing temperature.

What are you packing for the trip?
One big warm jacket, thermals, track pants, anything warm and good pair of hiking boots.

Your holiday playlist...
My all time favourite travel song would be on ‘On Melancholy hill’ by Gorillaz.
