Initially it was announced that Bebo would pay tribute to her grand uncle Shammi Kapoor by performing to his tracks at an awards event as reported '<a href="http://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/2011/nov/101111-informer-3.htm" target="_blank">Cousins think alike</a>'. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2011/nov/kareena2.jpg" border="5" /> Now, however, the plan has changed and the actress will pay tribute to her grandfather Raj Kapoor and dance to his chartbusters. On November1, Ranbir had paid tributes to Shammi Kapoor and got jiggy to his tracks at the A R Rahman concert as part of his film's promotions. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2011/nov/ranbir1234.jpg" border="5" /> Says a source, "As Ranbir had done something similar only recently at an event, it was better for Kareena to not do likewise. It was decided that she pay tribute to her grandfather and his songs."u00a0 Channel sources, however, claim that due to a typo error the name of Shammi Kapoor was initially announced. Says the source, "The e-mail that they had received stated Shammi Kapoor's name on the basis of which the first announcement was made. u00a0 Later, they were told that it was a typo and that actually it was to read as Raj, and not Shammi Kapoor." If you ask us, it sounds like a last minute made-up excuse. Among the other B-Town folk slated to groove at the event are Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan.
