Kareena Kapoor-starrer ‘Veere Di Wedding’ sequel in the making, releasing in '24

Earlier today, Pinkvilla shared an exciting post hinting at the potential release of a sequel to the 2018 hit film ‘Veere Di Wedding.` The post has stirred quite a bit of excitement as fans eagerly wait for this film to hit the big screen within the next year.

Veere Di Wedding, directed by Shashanka Ghosh, featured an ensemble cast of talented actresses, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania in the lead roles. It was produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi. Pinkvilla has shared an exciting post saying that a sequel to the 2018 hit film is in the making.
In their report, Pinkvilla shared a quote from one of the producers. “Veere Di Wedding is a very special project for the makers, and they have already set the ball rolling for the sequel. So Veere Di Wedding 2 is definitely being made, and the idea and concept have already been locked. However, the script is still being written, and the final draft should be ready in a few months. Once that is done, they will start looking at the casting and other logistics. The movie will roll next year,” the report quoted a source close to the development as saying.
