Fancy seeing Katrina Kaif in a double role? Our sources say that Kat has been approached to play the twin protagonists in the remake of the &rsquo;70s hit Seeta Aur Geeta. <img alt="Katrina Kaif" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/mar/Katrina-Kaif_5.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 665px;" /> The actress apparently is very fond of the original Hema Malini starrer. Sources say at one point of time, she even harboured intentions of producing the remake. While the grapevine suggests Ramesh Sippy, who directed the original film, will also helm the project but his son-director Rohan denies it. &ldquo;Dad is not directing the movie,&rdquo; states Rohan. Industry insiders say the makers are apparently so happy with Kat&rsquo;s interest in the project that they have given her a free hand at selecting the team she wants to work with. Another source says, &ldquo;The rights are not with Sippy as there is a dispute between the Sippy brothers regarding it. Ramesh could be directing it but only after he wins the rights.&rdquo; Apparently Katrina and Sippy&rsquo;s banner are now busy working out details of the project.
