Mahesh Bhatt has surrendered his Creative Consultant position from Mukesh Bhatt’s Vishesh Films. Mahesh Bhatt has decided to disassociate himself from the family-run film production company. Brother Mukesh`s children, Vishesh and Sakshi, will carry the Vishesh Films’ legacy forward. The veteran filmmaker, who worked as a creative consultant, will guide them whenever required.

There are whispers that after the debacle of Sadak 2 (2020), the Bhatts have been keen to put their house in order. It is said that things have been done amicably as Mahesh is no longer interested in continuing with his role. Films like the Murder franchise, Aashiqui, Sadak, and more have been made under the Vishesh Films’ banner.
