The couple have called off their nine-month-old relationship

Milind Soman and Shahana Goswami are no longer together. The two met in March this year and instantly hit it off. The two met up at common friend Purab Kohli's place. They were both emerging from failed relationships and found solace in each other's company. Shahana had broken up with Mira Nair's nephew Ishaan, while Milind had separated from his French wife Mylene Jampanoi. But now, they have moved on.

Sources confirm that the two have decided to part ways. The age difference between them Shahana (24) and Milind (44) was not the problem, as is generally believed. A source says, "Both Milind and Shahana are far too intelligent to be bogged down by the age thing. It is just that they became too serious too soon. It seemed rushed." Rebound, anyone?



Very different

What drove them apart is the fact that they both wanted different things from life, and from each other. While he wanted a commitment from her, she was more inclined to take it one day at a time.
