The Bombay High Court Friday permitted Bollywood actress Monica Bedi to access her two savings accounts, frozen since 2002 when she was arrest along with mafia don Abu Salem in Lisbon Sep 2002 and deported from Portugal in Nov 2005.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had frozen the two accounts - at HDFC Bank's Versova branch, at Andheri - on the grounds as they wanted to investigate whether or not they contained the ill-gotten wealth of her alleged boyfriend, Abu Salem.
