The Family Man actor Sharib Hashmi makes music video debut with Eternal love

Mood for love

A still from Eternal love

In a career spanning 15 years, Sharib Hashmi has essayed a variety of roles. The actor, with projects like Filmistan, and The Family Man in his kitty, has now forayed into the music space. Eternal love, his first music video that releases today, has been penned by Shaheen F Qureshi and Ranjit S Mashiana.

“When I heard the song, I instantly fell in love with it. When it was offered to me, I couldn’t say no,” reveals Hashmi of the track that has been composed by Faraaz Ahmed.

Admitting that he “always wanted to feature in a music video based on an intense story,” he says, “I feel this was just the opportunity I was looking for. The story of eternal love has been beautifully woven into the narrative, and it gave me enough scope to perform.”

For the single-day shoot that took place at a Madh Island bungalow, Hashmi was accompanied by co-actor Nancy Thakkar. “I am open to similar offers. In fact, I’m also planning to record an original single, and might make a music video of it as well,” he says.

For now, however, he has trained his attention on his web series, 36 Days, and director Shivam Nair’s The Diplomat, starring John Abraham.
