The police informed the court that the knife used during the attack and the pieces recovered from the accused match. The police also referred to the forensic science laboratory report, reiterating their claim that the piece of knife found from the actor's spine during the attack and a piece of knife found at the crime scene match the weapon that they recovered from the accused.
