Star couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony after seven years of dating.  The couple registered their marriage and held a grand reception at Bastian for family and friends from the film fraternity. After the celebration wrapped up, Sonakshi and Zaheer were welcomed home as newlyweds by the latter’s friend, and celebrity interior designer Jannat Vasi Lokhandwala. 

A video shared by Jannat shows her putting garlands around the couple and then breaking two flowers from each and doing circles - a way to ward off ‘nazar’ or evil eye. The ritual left Sonakshi in tears as she was welcomed into the family. Watch the video below.
