Rakesh Roshan deletes the lead pair's intimate scenes from the Hindi version

Not wanting to alienate his family audiences, who made Krrish and Koi Mil Gaya hits, Rakesh Roshan has decided to do away with the intimate scenes between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori in Kites. The producer took this step after Brett Ratner, who edited the English version of Kites, suggested he do so. Ratner believed that the intensity of the passionate scenes could offend the sensibilities of Indian audiences.
