Akki reacts quickly to save co-star Sanjay's costly watch Sanjay Dutt's high-end luxury watch worth over Rs 20 lakh might have been buried in the sands of time forever. But his Rolex was saved in the nick of time by Blue co-star Akshay Kumar.

On an impulse, Akki dove into the water and retrieved it. The incident happened when the unit was shooting in Nassau, Bahamas. Accidental drop Confirming the incident, director Anthony D'Souza says, "Sanjay was in the boat wearing the watch. But when he had to face the camera, he had to remove it. Accidentally, it fell into the water. As the cast was in scuba gear, they could jump into the water immediately. Akshay managed to find it within minutes." Though the unit was shooting with professional scuba divers in a waterway that was about 40 feet deep, it was the shifting sand that could have posed a problem. "The gushing waters make the sandy bottom change its course. If Akki had not reacted fast, the watch would have been a sunken treasure! But Sanjay remained cool for those taxing moments," adds Anthony. Though there has been buzz that Sanju and Akki have had major insecurity issues over the film's shoot, the director says, "No one has expressed any insecurity concerns to me." According to the director barely a week's shoot is left for the Ashtavinayak produced film which will be done in April. "We are planning to release Blue on August 13," says Anthony. Along with Dutt and Akshay, the seafront flick stars Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan.
