What's it about: Tony Jaa may not be as stylish as Jackie Chan or Jet Li, or be as legendary as Bruce Lee, but Tony Jaa the director and hero of the film has quite a large fan following in Thailand.
Set in the 15th century, One Man Army as the title says is a simple revenge drama where Tien (Jaa) seeks to avenge the cruel massacre of his parents at the hands of some thugs.
Like any revenge film, the first half shows us Tony trying to learn various forms of martial arts to prepare for the climax.
What's hot: There's ample scope for Jaa to show off his stunts and wizardy. The fight scene on top of an elephant stands out for the camera work and Jaa's ability to make the battle engaging.
The climax, especially the last 20 minutes are the major highlight as Jaa fights out the baddies and dishes out revenge. Production values are impressive.
