Tusshar Kapoor and Prachi Desai have been cast opposite each other in Rumi Jaffery's Life Partner. However, not many know that Prachi wasn't the first choice for the project. The makers, in fact, had Rimii Sen in mind. However, Tusshar insisted that they get Prachi. The producers obliged.<br /><br /><strong><span style="color: red">Pushing for Prachi</span></strong><br />u00a0<br />A source reveals, "Rimii was the original choice for the film. However, since Tusshar had seen Prachi's work in his cousin Abhishek Kapoor's Rock On!!, he wanted her to do the role. He also felt that Prachi looked his age and they both looked good together on screen. Tusshar felt like it was important to push for her. <br /><br />

So yes, I wanted Prachi in the role opposite me." <br /><br />Sources reveal that Rimii was hoping Life Partner would revive her career.
