Ever since Rhea Chakraborty’s picture and name went missing from the motion poster of Chehre, the makers have remained mum about her part in the Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi-starrer. The promotional campaigns that followed also did not mention Chakraborty. Speculation is rife about whether she is in or out of the suspense thriller. 

Producer Anand Pandit tells hitlist, “We did not react because we have decided not to talk about Rhea at this moment. We will answer questions regarding her at the right time. At this juncture, there is nothing more I can say.” The film’s trailer drops tomorrow, which will perhaps provide clarity on her role in Rumy Jafry’s directorial venture. In 2019, Chakraborty shared pictures of the film’s mahurat with the cast and crew, on social media.
