The actor surprised her fans by announcing that husband Raj Kundra and she had welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy. Born on February 15, their week-old daughter has been named Samisha — a blend of Sanskrit and Russian words, the new mother revealed.

Hours after they teased fans with the first glimpse of their newborn, mid-day got in touch with Kundra. Understandably elated, the second-time father said, "We love being parents, and we loved every bit of it with Viaan Raj [son]. Now, the joy and happiness has doubled with Samisha. We have wanted a second one for a long time. God was kind, and science was in our favour. This child is the answer to all our prayers, mostly Viaan's. This feeling is surreal."
