Ranveer Singh is back with a bang. His recently released film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, received positive reviews and it is performing well at the box office too. He is being hailed for portraying the role of Rocky Randhawa, a rich Punjabi brat who falls in love with Rani, an educated Bengali journalist. While the film is a success at the box office, his previous three releases, 83 (2021), Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022) and Cirkus (2022), failed to draw the audience to theatres.
At Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani`s press conference on Thursday in Mumbai, Ranveer was asked about dealing with box office failures before tasting success all over again. The actor told, "I don`t dwell too much on failure or success. I am grateful that I get to go on a film set and work. What matters is my character gets loved. Hence, I am grateful, no matter what. I don’t understand this numbers game, and I try to remain as detached from it as possible. I want to focus on craft, performance, and character and do my best to contribute to what is truly a collaborative effort."
