Actress Rhea Rhea Chakraborty took to Instagram to express gratitude after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said that were not challenging the bail granted to her in the drugs case, post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress posted a selfie video with a folded hands emoji. Although she doesn`t refer to the development directly, netizens believe the cryptic post hints at her gratitude for the recent announcement by the NCB.
The Supreme Court was informed by the NCB on Tuesday that it was not challenging the bail granted to Rhea by the Bombay High Court in the cases registered against her in connection with a drugs-related probe linked to the death of Sushant. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju told a bench of Justices AS Bopanna and MM Sundresh that NCB is not challenging the bail but the question of law should be kept open with regard to Section 27-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
