Ritesh Sidhwani sets up a vaccination drive for members of the film industry

Ritesh Sidhwani has tied up with Bhaktivendata Hospital in Mira Road to help him execute his mission to help industry and society get vaccinated

Film producer Ritesh Sidhwani has taken up the responsibility to vaccinate all members of the Producers Guild of India, members of his staff, his neighbourhood and help vaccinate the underprivileged section of the society. Ritesh’s effort has been tremendous in getting a large chunk of the industry and his own industry vaccinated. He has tied up with Bhaktivendata Hospital in Mira Road to help him execute his mission to help industry and society. It is learnt that Sidhwani also helped in acquiring 15000 doses of the vaccine in the month of May.


Sidhwani is contributing an extra amount of money in order to help vaccinate people in the rural areas free of cost. Bhaktivedanta wasn’t even listed in the SERUM’s list, but Ritesh spotted the opportunity and got the entire process executed at the earliest.

Celebrities have been the biggest draw when a calamity strikes the country and funds have to be raised. Governments in states or at the Centre are quick to appeal to the stars to hit the streets and seek support and help of the people, to give their mite and help alleviate the effects of whatever calamity has struck. In these tough times of Covid-19 pandemic, a lot of celebrities have come forward to help the citizens, in their own ways.

With the second wave of the pandemic this year, just about every artiste has got involved in some way or the other to help. Actors who have helped in some way or the other include Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Anushka Sharma (With Virat Kohli), Shilpa Shetty, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, Vir Das, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, Sushmita Sen, John Abraham, Milind Soman, Hrithik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, and Katrina Kaif.

Some of them helped by taking to social media to guide the Corona victims while some helped with motivational posts.
