Who would’ve thought that the bad boy of Mismatched would be the mind behind the show’s theme song? Taaruk Raina, who plays the foul-mouthed Anmol Malhotra in the Netflix series, was given the responsibility to compose Kho gaye for the recently dropped second season. The actor remembers how a chance conversation with showrunner-director Akarsh Khurana during the rom-com’s shoot led to the opportunity. “We were sitting in our hotel room when I had played him the melody, and he told me that this is the song he wanted me to work on. With its breaks and crescendos, the song has ups and downs, just like a relationship,” says Raina.
