Veteran actress Shabana Azmi shared the screen with legendary actor Shashi Kapoor in the film ‘Fakira’. It was not an easy task for Shabana to star opposite her favourite star, as the actress was very young. While recalling how great of a person Shashi Kapoor was, she shared an incident on the set of Fakira.

In a conversation with Zoom, Shabana shared that Shashi Kapoor schooled her on the sets as his way of showing affection. While calling him crazy, Shabana said, “We were shooting for Fakira and the song was ‘Dil Mein Tujhe Bithakar’. Now, I went on set before he arrived and Satyanarayan ji was doing the choreography, and I saw that the moves were very intimate. I was very young at that time, and I had tears in my eyes and I left the set. My heart was thudding because I really didn’t want to do those shots.”
