Shah Rukh Khan feels 'so sad' by media coverage
During an interview with Hindi Rush, Varinder Chawla recounted an incident when he received a call from <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/shah-rukh-khan-on-losing-his-parents-i-was-a-young-orphan-who-had-to-work-his-way-through-it-23335163" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Shah Rukh Khan</a>. He explained that when "Pathaan" was released in 2023, his team spotted the actor, but chose not to use the footage as it felt intrusive.
Feeling that Shah Rukh Khan was unhappy, Chawla got in touch with the actor's PR team, letting them know about the video and promising not to use it, apologizing if it had intruded on their privacy.
He mentioned that shortly after his call, SRK&rsquo;s manager contacted him to express gratitude and informed him that King Khan himself wanted to talk to him. He mentioned it was quite surreal for him, going from chasing Shah Rukh's car for a glimpse to receiving a call from him.
The paparazzo said, &ldquo;We spoke for over five minutes. After speaking to him, I realized his love for his children, his son <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/actor-shah-rukh-khan-breaks-silence-on-familys-troubled-times-in-recent-years-learnt-to-be-very-quiet-23329293" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Aryan Khan</a>. I too have children, if people went around telling ill and negative things about my children, I too would feel sad. He was so sad, upset back then, we didn&rsquo;t care about that. We just kept complaining SRK doesn&rsquo;t give us photos and always hides his face. He is mad at the media for what they did with his son.&rdquo;

&ldquo;The last four, five years have been a bit of a ride for me and my family. I am sure some of you also because of Covid and stuff. Most of my films flopped, a lot of specialists and analysts started writing my death-knell, some idiots did the same, which actually is the same thing, analysts and idiots. Not something that I really bother about,&rdquo; actor Shah Rukh Khan said when he accepted Indian of The Year 2023 by News18
&ldquo;And then, at a personal level, a little bit of bothersome and unpleasant things also happened to say the least which made me learn a lesson that be quiet, be very quiet and work hard with dignity. When you think everything is good, and still know it in your heart when everything is good, suddenly out of nowhere, wham, life may come and hit you,&rdquo; he added breaking his silence on family's troubled time.
For the unaware, Khan's son Aryan was under judicial custody for a month post a raid by the NCB on cruise where the young man was present. He was later acquitted.&nbsp;
