Shah Rukh Khan: Wishing everyone getting back to a bit of normalcy safe, healthy days

Shah Rukh Khan shared a selfie with fans where he flaunted his stubble and stated it was time for a trim and get back to work.

December 2018 was the last time we saw Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. It has been two years and six months precisely. The world seems to be awaiting his next film and speculations and reports have been suggesting it is Yash Raj Films’ espionage thriller ‘Pathan’ that also stars Dimple Kapadia, John Abraham and Deepika and Padukone.

Given the unpredictability of the situation due to the Coronavirus pandemic, nobody knows when the film will come out. What has come out is a selfie of Khan with a stubble and he said that it was time for a trim and get back to work. He also wished everyone getting back to normalcy safety and health.

‘Pathan’ also has a cameo by Salman Khan who may come to save the day in the climax in his ‘Tiger’ avatar. And in return, SRK is likely to return the favour when ‘Tiger 3’ comes out. The two shared screen space in ‘Tubelight’ and ‘Zero’ as well. Just like how Rohit Shetty created the cop universe with ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’, YRF plans to do the same with spies.

What the production house is also doing is creating casting coups that immediately piques curiosities. Be it bringing together Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in ‘War’, or Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in ‘Pathan’ now. Two of them are helmed by Siddharth Anand.

Coming up to SRK, his association with YRF goes a long way. It all began with ‘Darr’ in 1993, ballooned with the historic ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ in 1995, and continued with films like ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’, ‘Mohabbattein’, ‘Veer-Zaara’, 'Chak De! India', ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, and ‘Fan’.
