However, the movie has faced criticism for its portrayal of the Indian Air Force (IAF). An IAF officer raised objections to a particular intimate scene, deeming it disrespectful. In response to the allegations, the film's director has stated that they shot 'Fighter' in "complete conjunction with the IAF."
