Sonam Kapoor Ahuja on Friday celebrated one year of the release of her film based on homosexuality - Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga - and expressed gratitude to have been a part of the progressive film. The actor took to Twitter to share a short video consisting of striking excerpts on same-sex love from the film.
The subtitle in the video read, 'One year to setting love free and celebrating love without boundaries'. "As I played the character of Sweety Chaudhary, I saw Indian cinema take a step towards a progressive India. Although the movie was wrapped around Indian family values, it came with a story-line that's relevant today more than ever," Ahuja wrote along with the video.
