Playing a cop as well as a gangster in two different films can be quite a learning experience. At least Sonu Sood feels so. The actor who is enacting the role of Dawood Ibrahim in Sanjay Gupta&rsquo;s film says, &ldquo;I have done lots of research for the role. I read books written by S Hussain Zaidi who is known for his deep insights into Mumbai&#39;s underworld.&rdquo; <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/may/Sonu-Sood.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 391px; " /> If playing don is exciting enough, then Sonu is doubly thrilled about playing a cop in Kabeer Kaushik&rsquo;s film that&rsquo;s ready for release. The Punjabi munda says, &ldquo;This role is really special to my heart. I have put everything into it. I am playing an encounter specialist-cop who goes through ups and downs in his professional career. Though he&rsquo;s deep into the world of law and crime, he is also a family man at heart.&rdquo; The actor who has also shared screen space with Naseeruddin Shah tells that the veteran actor is like an institution in himself. &ldquo;It is a great learning experience. Very few actors come as prepared on the sets as he. He is always equipped with his lines, body language, etc.&rdquo; On an introspective note, Sonu says that he has always followed his instincts. &ldquo;I am not in a hurry. I rather wait for something that&rsquo;s genuinely exciting,&rdquo; says the actor. He also expresses his delight in the fact that people are finely appreciating good scripts.
