I started learning Bharatnatyam from her, not knowing at all how much I would grow to love it. I learn Kuchipudi as well,u00a0and have been performing on stage since the age of 12. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/jun/mauli.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 649px; " /> Mauli Dave, Singer I feel so blessed to have been given both music and dance as gifts from God as my talents. I feel I would be incomplete without either.u00a0As for tennis, I played the sport at the Varsity level for my High school in Houston. The four years I played for my school were the most amazing days as an athlete. I won many matches and a few tournaments. My brother, my Bapu (dad) and I have been playing tennis as a family for years and we enjoy those moments the most when we are playing with each other.u00a0

Making music and all that jazz!

My two favourite hobbies besides singing are dancing and playing tennis. I started dancing when I was only 5 or 6 years old because my mother has been a classical dance teacher for many years.
