Sudhir Mishra is planning to make a film on Delhi's Sanjeev Nanda hit and run case. The film is tentatively titled Driver and tells the story of a spoiled and wayward son of a rich industrialist and his friendship with his driver. The driver is the same age as the scion and his duty includes keeping an eye on his boss. Sudhir wants to cast Ranbir in the role of the driver and Chitrangda Singh in the role of the scion's girlfriend.

Sudhir says that the film will be on how the new rich class that has emerged in the Capital can cause the downfall of the city due to their emphasis on excesses and privileges. The story will be told through the eyes of the middle class driver, who has his own take on the dazzling affluence of the city.
