Deepika Padukone is getting the infamous RK tattoo off her neck

Deepika Padukone is planning to go in for laser-assisted tattoo removal sessions to get rid of the telltale sign of her broken relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.

Deepika had got the tattoou00a0-- in the design of a flower with the initials RKu00a0-- done on the nape of her neck at the peak of her romance with Ranbir. She had used a concealer to hide it when she shot for Lafangey Parindey and Ashutosh Gowariker's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.

In the past, Dippy has often been asked about the tat, but she has always evaded the question. Now she has finally decided to get rid of it.

A source reveals, "Deepika has made up her mind. She will be removing the RK tattoo. She's a strong girl and once she decides something, there's nothing stopping her. The decision also comes from the fact that she's in a happy place with her new boyfriend Siddharth Mallya and has completely moved on."

Says the actress, "Yes, I'm having the tattoo removed."
