Actor Anupam Kher attended the press conference of his recently released film 'The Kashmir Files' in New Delhi on Monday, along with the film's director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and actor-producer Pallavi Joshi. The film has brought the spotlight on the killings and forced exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the late 1980s and afterwards.

Amid the buzz, the Kerala unit of Congress claimed in a tweet, now deleted, that more Muslims were killed in Jammu and Kashmir during 1990-2007 than Pandits. Responding to this after the press conference, Kher told ANI, "The kind of love that the storm has created from this film, the kind of people who are going to watch this film, what Kerala Congress has said is not important. I think they are trying to find what are the opinions of the actors or director of the film. I don't want to give them that pleasure."
