Singing sensation Arijit Singh, who recently performed in Dubai has come under the wrath of netizens for cutting his nails mid-concert on stage. A video of the same has gone viral which shows the ‘Chaleya’ singer giving himself an express manicure as thousands of fans watch him.

A section of netizens called out Arijit for his unprofessional behaviour given how fans pay an exorbitant amount to watch him sing live.
One user wrote, "This is not called humble, this is unhygienic." "Nothing cool about it. His outfit and this act are both unwittingly to how he should carry himself. Pathetic," added another. "He should have done it before the concert, highly unprofessional, and who gets nail cutters to concerts? Crazy stuff," wrote one user.
However, some fans defended him stating, “This happened at the Dubai concert recently and I was there! He had difficulties with playing the guitar and hence had to cut his nails.”

Arijit, who is known for hits including 'Tum Hi Ho,' 'Raabta, Kabira,' and 'Chaleya,' had a live performance at Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena on Sunday.
Earlier, a video from the gig went viral on the internet in which Arijit could be seen apologising to Mahira, who was seated in the audience, for not recognising her at first instance. Wearing an elegant black outfit, Mahira Khan graced the audience with a wave.
Arijit had lent vocals to a superhit song 'Zaalima' in Mahira Khan's Bollywood debut 'Raees', which was headlined by superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The film was released in 2017.
