Throwback Thursday: When Vicky Kaushal 'fainted' after Katrina Kaif said they would look nice together

When Vicky Kaushal heard this from Karan Johar, the actor had an epic reaction

Koffee With Karan has revealed so many secrets about our favourite celebs. One such episode was back in season 6, which aired in 2018. Karan Johar has this segment for his celebrity guests, where they open up on the 'kouch' as they sip 'koffee' or just take the 'koffee shots' while he asks them questions.

In one of the episodes that had Vicky Kaushal as the guest, Karan Johar shared how Katrina Kaif said to him in another episode about the duo making a good pair. When Vicky Kaushal heard this from Karan, he had an epic reaction. As soon as Karan Johar made this revelation, Vicky went speechless and pretended to faint on the couch.

Not only this, during one of the rapid-fire rounds, Karan Johar also asked how the 'ladies' man' Vicky Kaushal operates around women. Being tight-lipped about his then-relationship, Vicky mentioned "It's new, but I am series about it. I don't know what's in the store for the future." For the unversed, Vicky Kaushal was dating Harleen Sethi, and he had also confessed about his relationship in other talk shows earlier.

Later in the episode, Karan Johar also asked whom he would choose as his next actress among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra. The actor was quick to reply 'Katrina Kaif' as the actress too was sure that they would make a 'good pair.'

Cut to today, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are tying the knot in Rajasthan. The entire fort has been decorated with beautiful lights and lights. 

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for Govinda Naam Hai Mera, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani. The film is all set to release on June 10, 2022. He also has a film on the life of Sam Manekshaw coming up. No updates on Takht and Ashwatthama are out yet. Katrina, on the other hand, has Tiger 3 with Salman Khan, Phone Bhoot with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, a superhero film with Ali Abbas Zafar, and Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi.
