Despite the recent spike in COVID-19 cases and several actors contracting the virus, the unit of Heropanti 2 is sticking to its shoot schedule. Tiger Shroff is expected to shoot for the action thriller from April 3. Heropanti 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan, who has earlier directed Tiger in the films Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3. The first schedule of Khan’s directorial venture will be shot in Mumbai. Shroff is slated to shoot for a high-octane action sequence in the first schedule, preparation for which has already begun. Co-actor Tara Sutaria, who is recovering from COVID-19, will join the unit in mid-April. It is said that the makers will decide on the other locations depending on how the situation plays out in the coming days.

The movie was announced in February 2020. On Tiger`s birthday this year, the makers even unveiled the upcoming actioner`s release date as December 3, 2021.
