Recently, talking about Dia Mirza’s wedding with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi, a source informed PTI, “Dia is getting married to Vaibhav in Mumbai on Monday (February 15) in presence of family and close friends. It is going to be a private ceremony,”

Pinkvilla now reports that the duo will be tying the knot in a traditional ceremony. A source told the portal, “Dia’s closest friends from Bollywood will attend her wedding. Overall there will be less than 50 people in attendance, invites for which have already been rolled out. She will get married in a traditional ceremony, but a registrar will also be going to her residence for registering the marriage.”

It added, “There won’t be any sangeet function, but both the families plan to get together before the wedding and spend some quality time.” Over the years, Mirza has acted in films like Sanju and Thappad. She will also complete 2 decades in the Hindi film industry this year. She began her career with the romantic drama, Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R. Madhavan and Saif Ali Khan.

Recently, in an interview, talking about the impact of social media and the menace of trolls, the actress opined, “For me, social media has been such a powerful instrument to talk about the things that I want to and for most of the advocacy work that I do. I have never looked at it as something that is harmful. Of course, misinformation is extremely harmful, and there are all kinds of ruthless people who are disrespectful. But for the most parts, I have managed to have extremely positive interactions with people across all platforms.”

Talking about dealing with social media trolls and online abuse, Dia Mirza said, “There have been some phases where I have faced my share of trolling, but I don’t respond to trolls with disrespect, instead, I choose to not engage with them beyond a point. I feel that when you are clear about what you are doing and are honest, then what people say shouldn’t bother you, and it doesn’t affect me at all.”
