Sanjay Kapoor made his debut in the year 1995 with the film `Prem` directed by the late Satish Kaushik. But, the actor was initially set to make his debut with a different film opposite actress Amala Akkineni. The duo also did a photoshoot together in the year 19987 for the film. 

A couple of weeks back, Sanjay Kapoor had shared a picture from he 1987 shoot with Amala Akkineni and revealed how she almost became his first co-star. The photograph clicked at Mumbai`s Madh Island dates back to 1987. In the frame, a young Sanjay Kapoor is seen posing with Amala. While he wore a striped blue shirt and pair of white pants, Amala is seen in a deep blue dress.
