Celebrated actor Vijay Varma, known for his versatile roles, recently delved into personal territory as he discussed his relationship with fellow actress and girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia. Many celebrities prefer to keep their romantic lives private, especially when they involve industry peers. However, Varma's recent revelations in an interview with Film Companion provided fans with a candid look into his life and the dynamics of dating within the industry.

Initially reluctant about dating someone from the film world, Vijay revealed, “When I started out, I thought I would not be with an actress or anybody from the industry, primarily because I was probably very resentful of the industry." However, he later realized that it could be fulfilling to have a partner who came from the same professional world - and understood the complexities and the dark side of showbiz. "Yet, when Tamannaah and I began our relationship, I realized the benefits of being with someone familiar with the intricacies of this business. Someone who comprehends the artistic, creative, logistical, and financial facets of movie-making,” he added.

Vijay praised Tamannaah for the valuable insights and understanding she brings into his life. "Her vast experience and commendable work ethic have been invaluable to me. Often, when I find myself struggling with certain feelings or situations, her perspective brings immediate clarity," Vijay added.

Confirming their relationship earlier this year, Tamannaah and Vijay became the center of attention after rumors about their budding romance started circulating. Their association on the set of 'Lust Stories 2' played catalyst to their off-screen bond. The couple was also spotted sharing an intimate moment during a New Year's party in Goa, a video of which went viral in January. However, Vijay has, in the past, articulated his unease with the spotlight their relationship often garners - and said that he is attempting to get used to his personal life being in the limelight only recently.

On the work front, Vijay's recent role in the web series 'Kaalkoot' saw him sharing the screen with talents like Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Yashpal Sharma, Gopal Datt, and Seema Biswas. His performance in 'Dahaad' earlier this year was met with widespread acclaim. Vijay Varma will next star in the Netflix original 'Jaane Jaan,' set to release in September. Helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, the movie is an adaptation of "The Devotion of Suspect X" and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Kareena Kapoor.
